Seacoast Cottage Location

Located on the shores of Lake Superior.

A scenic travel experience. Exhaust yourself in wilderness beauty along your entire route, while driving in Michigan's Upper Peninsula.

2 Hrs. from the Mackinaw Bridge
2 Hrs from Sault Ste Marie
1 1/2 Hrs from Escanaba
7 Hrs from Detroit

Whether you arrive in the U.P., via the Mackinaw Bridge from lower Michigan or from Wisconsin or Canada, make sure to allow yourself enough travel time (have your camera ready) to visit and explore a few of its many beautiful attractions along the way.

There are numerous road-side parks and rest areas, most of which are natural scenic treasures, fully equipped with restrooms, valuable information, and telephones.

Our diverse peninsula stretches for 384 miles from west to east, from Ironwood to the tip of Drummond Island, and 233 miles from Copper Harbor in the north to Menominee in the south.

From the Mackinaw Bridge, follow US 2 West to 117 or 77. Turn right, headed north to M-28. Turn left on M-28 headed west through Munising and Au Train. Our cottage is located on Au Train Trail, 3 miles from blinking amber light in Au train
