The
cottage is everything we had hoped for & more.
Peaceful, quiet, beautiful! The appearance of
the lake & sky varies every day. Exploring
the area's natural beauty makes me think 'why
would anyone want to vacation anywhere other than
here?' We've been to the U.P. for the past 7 years,
but never stayed put in one place like this. We've
enjoyed every minute of staying in this lovely
cottage. Add a spatula & measuring spoons
to the otherwise well-stocked kitchen (loved the
spices!). The coffee shop in Munising has excellent
espresso. Ben Franklin's is great for stocking
up on crafts for the kids & water toys. Miner's
Beach is a perfect family outing - beautiful clean
soft sand on a very wide beach, breathtaking views,
rock hunting, swimming, watching kayaks &
boats come & go, and not crowded at all -
we almost had the whole palce to ourselves.
